Learn How Technology Is Advancing Healthcare & Emergency Response at Propelify 2017

Come visit the RWJBarnabas Health exhibit at Propelify to learn how technology is saving lives and improving patient care. You will meet health professionals from Jersey City Medical Center (JCMC) and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH), who will demonstrate the many ways technology helps them care for patients and families throughout Hudson and Middlesex Counties.

JCMC’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) uses predictive modeling technology to position on-duty ambulances. The technology tabulates historical data from 911 calls enabling EMS to pinpoint where the next emergency is likely to take place. Join JCMC paramedics and emergency medical technicians as they discuss how the technology has helped better position them for a faster response and how patients benefit from the decreased wait time, ultimately leading to more lives saved. JCMC’s EMS unit is the sole provider of emergency medical services throughout Jersey City and is the sole provider of Advanced Life Support Paramedics for Hoboken and other Hudson County communities.

RWJUH now offers patients suffering from debilitating back pain or limited range of motion, a highly accurate, cutting-edge, minimally invasive surgical solution with the highly advanced, Mazor Robotics Renaissance Guidance System. The technology allows surgeons to perform any spinal surgery, safely, accurately, and efficiently. Visit this exhibit to see the robot, watch a demonstration, and find out how this technology reduces exposure to radiation and optimizes clinical outcomes.

RWJBarnabas Health is New Jersey’s largest, comprehensive health care system, spanning the core of the state and reaching nearly 5 million residents, who turn to us for the most expert and dedicated clinicians, the latest state-of-the-art technologies, the most sophisticated procedures and innovative research and thinking.

From $0 to $2B in 12 months: Meet Brex

This year, Propelify, powered by the NJTC, teamed up with Brex, a startup making waves for startups. Prior to Brex, founders were forced to use personal debit cards, often facing the risk of maxing out multiple credit cards. In 2017, Brex created a corporate card for founders of early stage startups that also removed the need of having it personally guaranteed.

Propelify has been acquired.

I’m proud to say that the NJ Tech Council (NJTC) has acquired Propelify and I have been appointed as the NJTC’s CEO.
