When it comes to arriving at Propelify in style, there is no shortage of options. There are numerous trains, buses, boats, bike racks and parking garages that will drop you within a stone’s throw of the festival. Whether you’re crossing the river from New York City or crossing the country from Hawaii (registered attendees hail from Hawaii and beyond!) this guide will show you how easy it is to get to Propelify – no matter where you’re coming from.
There are many, many reasons to get to Propelify as early and smoothly as possible.
First up, where will the Propelify Innovation Festival take place? Propelify will be held on Pier A Park on the Hoboken NJ Waterfront. .
Here are 7 easy ways to get to the Propelify Innovation Festival:
Take the PATH
PATH is the trans-Hudson rapid transit service between New York City and New Jersey. The closest stop to Propelify Innovation Festival on the PATH is the Hoboken Station.
From New York City
Take the PATH to Hoboken Station from any of these Path/MTA Stations:
- 33 St (at 6th Ave – B, D, F, N, Q, R, W)
- 23 St (at 6th Ave – F, M)
- 14 St (at 6th Ave – F, M, L, 1, 2, 3)
- 9 St (at 6th Ave – A, B, C, D, E, F, M)
- Christopher St (between Greenwich & Hudson St)
- World Trade Center (A, C, E, J, R, W, Z, 2, 3, 4, 5)
From New Jersey
Take the PATH to Hoboken Station from any of the following PATH stations: Newark Penn Station, Harrison, Journal Square, Grove Street, Exchange Place, Newport.
Time: 3 minute walk from the PATH Hoboken Station to Propelify Innovation Festival. When you exit the Path walk towards the river and you can’t miss it.

Take a Boat
If you’re coming from NYC, this just might be the most scenic way to arrive. NY Waterway provides ferry service to Hoboken from both downtown and uptown Manhattan. NY Waterway Ferries arrive at either Hoboken NJ Transit Terminal (.1 miles from Propelify) or Hoboken 14th Street (1 mile from Propelify) depending on your departure location.
You can take the NY Waterway ferry to Hoboken from:
Manhattan Pier 79 / 39 St & 12 Ave
Manhattan Pier 11 / Wall St.

Take NJ TRANSIT
If you’re coming from anywhere in New Jersey you might consider taking NJ Transit, which offers a large network of trains, buses and light rail.

Take a Bicycle
The City of Hoboken provides some great resources about bicycling in Hoboken including bike maps, bike lanes, and bike parking information.
If you’re interested in bicycling from NYC, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- The only way to cross between Manhattan and Jersey riding your bicycle is via the George Washington Bridge.
- Bicycles are not allowed on PATH weekdays during peak hours (6:30-9:30am and 3:30-6:30 pm). Bicycles ARE permitted at all other times.
- NY Waterway ferry allows bicycles at all times for a $1.00 surcharge.
Walk
If you live in Hoboken or the surrounding area, a great way to arrive at Propelify is on your own two feet. No parking, no extra costs, no problems. The entire tech world coming right to you in your own backyard for one day only – don’t miss it, Hobokeners!
Drive
While parking in Hoboken is known for being difficult, it’s entirely doable if you arrive informed about the available options and parking rules. Dave over at at Hoboken Parking Helper has put together a fantastic guide to parking for Propelify. His top tip? It’s highly suggested that you park in one of the parking garages. Garages B and D are the closest to Propelify, but the Midtown garage is a good option as well. You can park for the entire day without headache.
